Sixty years separated the youngest and oldest players as Pirbright Cricket Club came together for a fun-packed and competitive afternoon of limited overs cricket.

Some 36 players from every group in the club took to the field for the traditional intra-club battle between President, Charlie Miller, and Chair, Graeme Marks.

Three mixed teams battled it out with many excellent performances from the youth sections, the ladies and even a few seasoned veterans.

The tournament ended in a hard-fought tie with each team winning one game.

But, as always, cricket - and club - were the ultimate winners. The tremendous spirit that runs like a lifeblood throughout the club was on vivid display.

Charlie and Graeme are grateful to everyone who supported the event from BBQ and umpiring, to staffing the bar and preparing the ground!
