A fantastic evening combining every group in the club playing walking cricket! The all conquering ladies softball Phoenix team, featuring one of our youth players, took on an invitation Penguin XI which included regular walkers, those with very recently installed new knees, Sunday captain, Saturday league regular, disability players and head coach. Most on the field had to remember not to run when fielding or batting, bowing without running was also a challenge.

A tight game and some a dubious no ball on the last ball ensured a close finish with everyone having a great time. Change of innings saw cakes and drinks provided by the young leaders cake sale raising approx £100... which meant we all left happy!!
